Chinese, Japanese and Korean print materials are shelved in the Western Bank Library. More up-to-date materials are shelved on Floor 4, and older materials, back issues journals and newspapers are located on Floor 2.
All print material relating to Chinese, Korean or Japanese subjects, are shelved together in their corresponding specific shelfmark:
- Chinese Studies Collection has material in both in English and in Chinese. These are kept in the Western Bank Library on Floor 4 with a C prefix; and on Floor 2 with an EASL store C prefix in their shelfmark.
- Japanese Studies Collection has material in both in English and in Japanese. These are kept in the Western Bank Library on Floor 4 with a J prefix; and on Floor 2 with an EASL store J prefix in their shelfmark.
- Korean Studies Collection has material in both in English and in Korean. These are kept in the Western Bank Library on Floor 4 with a K prefix; and on Floor 2 with an EASL store K prefix in their shelfmark.
